The first law
(CD Audiobook)
Returning to the force after a long medical leave, Lt. Abe Glitsky is sidelined to a desk job. Embittered and wanting to do real detective work, he looks into the murder of a friend of his father's. However, police brass warn Glitsky to stay out of the case, as they already have a suspect in Dismas Hardy's friend and client, John Holiday. Soon Glitsky and Hardy realize that the guilt for the crime goes deep into a shadowy private police organization...and now their own families are targets.
