Drake's series combines the stories of vets who come home from the war to face personal crises with a new trend blossoming in military romance. Each of the books features two heroes, the hot alpha vet and the canine he is training and rehabbing. There is nothing that melts hearts (and panties) faster than a big man caring for a wounded dog.
