Marcy, owner of the Seven-Year Stitch embroidery specialty shop in Tallulah Falls, OR, makes her tenth series appearance following The Stitching Hour. Her friend Captain Moe is playing Santa for kids at the hospital and convinces Marcy to fill in as an elf, but her elf duties are cut short when a hospital administrator is found in Santa's sleigh with a knife in her chest. As Captain Moe becomes the prime suspect, Marcy must find the real murderer. Snooping around the hospital, she realizes that her questions are putting her in grave danger. VERDICT A pleasurable crafty cozy for the holidays.
