Pauline Rowson is the author of the contemporary crime novels featuring the flawed and ruggedly seductive detective, Inspector Andy Horton whose patch is Portsmouth CID. Her crime novels have been hailed as the 'Best of British Crime Fiction,' an 'exemplary procedural,' 'an entertaining read in an engaging series,' both in the UK and USA and 'a contemporary Agatha Christie'. Her Marine Mysteries, Tide of Death, Deadly Waters, The Suffocating Sea, Dead Man's Wharf and her thrillers In Cold Daylight, and In for the Kill are based around the Solent, but her books have an international readership.
