Evil is still slowly spilling out of Gairs well, creating havoc in Neroche. But Miach, Archmage of Neroche, is determined to close the well once and for all. Findingstealingthe right spell isnt easy, but what proves even more difficult for Miach is the discovery that the only one who can successfully work the spell of closure is Shieldmaiden Morgan of Melksham: Gairs daughter and Miachs true love.
