When Arnold, one of Ms. Frizzle's students, finds a small foxlike animal with huge ears in the lost and found, he and the rest of the class join in the search for the animal's habitat. They visit six different habitats: the Arctic, the North American temperate forest, the African grasslands, the Amazon rain forest, wetlands, and desert.
