The sinister pig
(CD Audiobook)
An unidentified body is found on the Jicarilla Apache gas field in New Mexico, just inside Navajo tribal jurisdiction. As Chee, Leaphorn, and Hopi cop Cowboy Dashee investigate a possible connection to a huge embezzlement scheme, Bernadette Manuelito, former Navajo officer and now border patrol agent in southern New Mexico discovers a link between the crime and drug running across the Mexican border. Then the FBI takes the case away from the Navajo Tribal Police, declaring it a hunting accident and closing the matter, leaving Chee, Leaphorn, Dashee, and Manuelito with a lot of unanswered questions...
