"Two hundred copies of this book have been printed as a keepsake for presentation to pilgrims to "Deepdene," the home of Frederic W. Goudy, at Marlborough, New York, upon the occasion of the celebration of the Thirty-fifth Anniversary of The Village Press, July 23, 1938. The type is Bertham, Mr. Goudy's one hundredth design, completed in June, 1936, and dedicated to Bertha M. Goudy; set by hand by Howard Coggeshall and printed at his Press in Utica, New York, in the month of the celebration, on Hazelbourn Ivory deckle edge book paper provided by Hurlbut Paper Company, South Lee, Massachusetts."--Colophon.
