Nonstop action from the first page to the last makes this sexy paranormal romance a winner. Lucas Simone, Alpha of the L.A. werewolf pack, has everyone intimidated except for beautiful Sarah King, a "charmer" who can read the thoughts of animals. When Sarah bails him out of jail for a murder he didn't commit, she asks for his protection in return. Her werewolf ex-lover, Rafe Santiago, is going after Lucas and his pack, and he'll kill Sarah if she reveals his secrets. Consumed by lust but reluctant to trust, Lucas agrees to help her even as both are beset by treachery and violence. Lucas is a supremely sexy bad boy, and his chemistry with Sarah blazes off the page. Fans of Eden's Night Watch series will be especially delighted by this steamy tale.
