ABOUT THE SEAN DUFFY SERIES
Inspector Sean Duffy is a detective in the Royal Ulster Constabulary trying to solve ordinary homicides during the darkest days of the Troubles in 1980s Belfast. Daily bombings, riots, rocket attacks and a low level civil war are all in a days work for Duffy and his crew. As a Catholic, Duffy is considered to be a traitor by his coreligionists and the IRA has put a bounty on his head. His bosses view him with suspicion and they don't like the fact that he's a smart arsed, dope-smoking, coke taking, lippy hard-case who will stop at nothing to see justice done on the toughest beat in the world.
