When the Chicago police dismiss her claim that somebody is trying to kill her, socialite Eve Edens turns to the Black Knights Inc. for help, even though this means she will have to see ex-Navy SEAL Billy Reichart again. They still love each other intensely. But he cannot forgive her for marrying someone else while he was in SEAL training, and she feels hopelessly guilty, even though the marriage is long over. As Billy protects her while they figure out who is after her, they work through their tormented past. A side plot involves another Knight, Bryan Mac Macmillan, a former FBI agent, who is desperatelyfighting his attraction to Delilah, a curvy redheaded biker-bar owner and former CPA. No doubt they're the stars of a future book. Possibly the best of Walker's Black Knight tales, Born Wild is filled with highly sensual sex scenes and enough tension to ignite the pages. Fans of Maya Banks' KGI series will also love this, as will almost any military romance reader who likes ripped alpha males, among whom Billy Reichart can certainly be counted.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2013, American Library Association.)
