Just as he returns home from getting Angela settled in the dorm, a bedraggled woman shows up on his doorstep in a wet, dirty bridal gown. Kari Worthington has been all set to marry Greg, who has her megawealthy father's seal of approval. At the last minute, however, Kari makes a U-turn at the altar. Unfortunately, the flight from her intended comes to an abrupt halt as her car careens off the muddy road in the middle of nowhere. Little does she know her trek through the icy sludge is actually a path that may well lead to true love.
