Six months after a short courtship and quick elopement, Taylor and Jack's marriage has gone stale. Instead of "I love you" they trade barbs, each one more hurtful than the next. Then a photography assignment brings Taylor back to her hometown of Heart's Bend, TN, and the chapel that reveals its power to mend broken marriages and hearts. VERDICT Hauck (How To Catch a Prince) has crafted a masterly romance that depicts the truth about real love: it's hard, messy, and unforgettable. The author's characters burst from the pages in an emotional journey that will be remembered long after the novel is finished.
