Someone fatally shot the victim, later identified as American Peter Mallon, the patriarch of the wealthy Mallon family. Fingers point to everyone involved with filming a documentary in Kilbane about the Mallons’ Irish heritage. Siobhán is dismayed to discover that she must report directly to her ex-boyfriend Det. Sgt.
