PreS-Duck and Goose return in this almost wordless board book. Each spread features a feeling or two as the adorable duo interact. The portrayals of simple emotionsscared, happy, and sad-are most successful. But those that are more subtleselfish, patient, hopeful, frustratedmay be too complex for a toddler audience, and the facial expressions barely have the range to convey them. The simple, colorful art with the antic and irascible title characters will be the biggest draw.Marge Loch-Wouters, La Crosse Public Library, WI
