Another Marine, her brother’s attractive pal Jeremy Phillips, has caught her eye, but he’s wary of doing anything to jeopardize his friendship. And Tim must wrestle with his desire to leave the military to write novels. Madison’s use of her feminine wiles to persuade Jeremy to change his mind about her provides this novel with its most entertaining moments. Fans of military romance may prefer to wait for the next Suzanne Brockmann or Merline Lovelace instead.
