This outstanding holiday love story is set in the 1970s. Widowed after her husband was killed fighting in Vietnam, Elle has been raising her mixed-race son, Dylan, on her own in the tiny town of Mistletoe, Utah. Her income as a waitress barely covers their bills, especially with the constant need for car repairs. Vietnam POW William returns to the U.S. and finds work as a mechanic in Mistletoe.
