Cases presented are Reuben Butterfield vs. Central Pacific Railroad Co. of Cal.; D.C. Tarbell vs. the Central Pacific R.R. Co.; and the people, etc. vs. the C.P.R.R. Co., et. al. Each case was presented before the 14th District Court, Placer County and came from the court records in the State Archives.
