This photo essay focuses on those members of the Central Coast community who are of California Indian heritage. The original native peoples of the Central Coast region included the Tataviam, Nicoleno, Salinan, and the Chumash Linguistic Family of Ventureno, Barbareno, Ineseno, Obispeno, Cruzeno Chumash.
