Concentration camp survivor and sculptor Felix Breit joins a group of artists and artisans who are creating a community at a country house in Hertfordshire, England in the spring of 1947 and realizes he is falling in love with fellow camp survivor, Angela Wirth.
Felix Breit and his new wife Angela, both concentration camp survivors, have joined with eight other families in a bold post-war experiment in communal living in the Dower House, an imposing Georgian mansion in the Herfordshire countryside.
